Mr. James M. Robertson, our consultant is an Honors graduate from Stanford University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. He studied in Florence, Italy for 6 months during this period of time. After graduation, he completed his MBA from Rice University, with a major in Entrepreneurship and Finance, and minor in Accounting.
Rice University employs the case study method as practiced at the Harvard Business School. The courses that they provide include detailed studies of the sale and acquisition of businesses. Their Entrepreneurship program has been consistently ranked number one or two in the United States.
Jim has 17 years of experience in the banking industry and around 30 years of experience in the dental practice transition area. He has worked with the largest dental practice transition company in the United States, including the fifth largest bank in the world, the largest bank in Texas and the second largest bank in Houston.
Mr. Robertson ranked in the top five of the nation when he worked with a national transition firm where he demonstrated an outstanding ability to identify the personal and professional goals and needs of the selling dentist and the buyer, completing the transition to maximize the benefits to all.
As a corporate lender, he focused on loans over $10 million. He served as a Senior Vice President in bank operations. During his tenure as a commercial loan officer, he evaluated numerous acquisitions in different industries for hundreds of millions of dollars using his MBA skills.
Mr. Robertson most importantly focuses on the well-being of both the buyer and the seller and works with an aim to help them to achieve their personal and professional goals. He is also involved in the community activities with his church.
